Vector MarketingVector Marketing can sometimes be a little frustraiting if you don't know where to start or what options you have available. Marketing your vector services is just one important element out of 4 key elements. We've outlined all four elements for you on this site to assist you on your journey in developing your freelance vector design business. Simply marketing your services is not enough to succeed these days. You'll need to focus on Marketing, Portfolio, Payment Processing, and Customer Support in order to build a solid enough foundation for your business so that it can continue to generate lucrative income throughout the years to come. While those 4 elements may sound easy enough, you will soon find out that it's a bit more complex when you want to do it the right way and avoid most the pitfalls new designers run into along the way. Note: Just a recape of what you already know; Vector design is working with 100% mathematical points / paths files whilst raster design is working with micro squares called pixles. Vector files can be scale infinately while retaining all the crisp lines and quality. Raster files are restricted to their output size and blur / pixelate when stretched. It's important to use the proper softwares when working with vectors. For example, a few known vector softwares are: Adobe Illustrator, Serif DrawPlus, & InkScape. A few known raster softwares are: Adobe PhotoShop, Paint, & Gimp. Always try to use the proper tool for the job. Be sure to check out all the resources on this site, you never know what you might miss. |
